Welcome to Davie County Home Builders Association's web site. This site was established to provide information for our members, prospective members and those who have an interest in building or buying a home in Davie County.
The building industry has always played a major role in our nation's economy. The Davie Home Builders Association is a vital part of this industry and contributes to the economic health of Davie County and its surrounding neighbors. Our ultimate goal is creating an improved quality of life by supplying quality housing for all of its citizens and allowing them to achieve the "American Dream" of home ownership. Our Association was founded in June of 1975 and has always been very active within our local community.
We have been involved in projects with the Storehouse for Jesus, the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, the Davie County Schools, home heating assistance for the needy, Hope Homes of Davie County, Backpack Buddies, United Way, Cooleemee Museum and the Davie Chamber of Commerce. We have also done community service projects for the elderly, such as building wheel chair ramps. Our motto has always been, "If you live and work in a community, it is your responsibility to give back more than you receive, by lending a helping hand in its growth. When you give back more than you receive your community will prosper."
